"Park brake Limited function" message after OTA update?

The truck told me yesterday that there is an update available (ECG2-25.2.8.5), and I went ahead and installed it.

Immediately after the update completed (I was still sitting in the truck), the following message popped up:
"Park brake Limited function Service required", and has been there since.

Has anybody else seen this happen? Any solution besides seeing the dealer?

Shut off truck, set park brake
Open door, let screens go off
Wait 30 seconds. Start truck
See if it clears

If its still there after 5 starts
I would go see the man
Sometimes updates do weird stuff that clears once modules load up in correct sequence
Does park brake operate?
Set, and release and hold?

I miss actual emergency brakes with cables... Simple, lasted for ever, and virtually never failed. Now they want everything to be computer controlled.

Yes, the parking brake seems to operate fine. No issues besides the warning message.

Yeah, I agree. Easy sometimes does it. And better!

Somehow, the error has cleared by itself.
