P02EE Injector Code

On Nov. 22nd I noticed that my coolant temp and oil temp was running up to 206 with normal driving.

A week later Nov. 29 my check engine light came on. I read the code as P02EE which is "Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Range/Performance"

I cleared it and for the next 2 days @30 miles of driving it stayed off.

This Sunday night it came back on and I got a notification on my FordPass app saying basically the same thing. I did not clear the code. I made an appointment at my local Ford dealer for today. This morning on my way to work the light was still on. When I left for the Ford house about 9:40, the light was off, but in the "Alert History" of my FordPass is shows a "Service Engine Soon Warning" time stamped at 9:42.

Called the Ford house this afternoon and they have no answers. Said they can't get it to re-create the issue. They see the stored code, but it currently checks out as okay.

They are going to keep it for another day.

Anyone have any similar issues?

I picked it yesterday and the service dept. says everything checks out and to bring it back if/when the check engine light comes back on.

I'm not sure why the last picture (of code reader) is loading funny.

This has happened 2 more times since my initial post. Last time was Sunday evening 6-22. Monday I called and set up an appt for Tuesday at my local Ford dealer. It stayed on until about noon on Monday while I was running some errands. Of course the Ford house said nothing they could do. Light never came on and the code didn't show in their scanner. No TSB as far as they say.

Truck runs fine with no issues even when the check engine light is on.

I am at a loss.

Any ideas?

Did the code ever come back? Did they swap out the injector

Nope, still hasn't occurred again.

Still no issues running.

Now that I say that, it will probably come on on my way home today.
