2022 XLT with the 400w inverter. Orange lights are on next to the plugs when I start the truck and they stays on with nothing plugged in. Plug in a phone charger and it charges no problem. Plug in my Microsoft Surface laptop, not powerful at all, the light stays on for a few seconds and then shuts off and doesn't charge. It stayed on longer if I wasn't running the AC. Truck is running this whole time.
Could it be the battery not being able to handle it, it's the original H6. I'm planning on replacing with an H8 and top it off with my charger and reset the battery management system after install.
I saw the bulletin about the plug in the bed needing replaced with the harness because of corrosion but that seemed to be when you start the truck and the light either doesn't come on next to the plugs or they go out quickly with nothing plugged in, so I don't think that's it.
Either battery or inverter issue? When I restart the truck the lights come back on next to the plugs just fine, but still can't charge my laptop.
