Ordering process

Howdy,
First time posting and new to the Ford family. Just ordered my first ever F-150 (King Ranch) on 1 Mar. Dealer said I should get an update on the status of the order at ~3 weeks which I hit today. Is this the typical timeframe for a VIN to be generated? With everyone else delay I’m seeing I’m not holding out much hope on any updates. Other than talking with the dealer is there any way to check the status of the order? All I have right now is the preview order/ order summary right now. Looking forward to hopefully being in the truck relatively soon.

Without the VIN I'm guessing the only way to track would be through your dealer. Once you get the VIN and order number you can track via https://shop.ford.com/vehicleordertracking#/

I ordered on 2/27/21 and received the VIN today. Really depends on the dealer, and how / who they limit to the orders. At my Dealer only the General Sales Manager & above can order. So that means that while I got the VIN today, it was likely at the dealer last week.... Dealer games I'm sure, but glad to finally have the VIN.

FWIW - I ordered a Limited Powerboost 4X4 in Antimatter Blue, with the spray-in liner, and the tray style floormats.

Do you have any updates on your order? I ordered on 2-25 and got my vin like a week ago as well. When I track it it says 'in order processing so I just wonder how long I will see that for... although I'm sure as soon as it's updated I will know pretty quick as I check it like once an hour, haha.
