3 yrs old and now the 3rd full application of Krown done. I spent about 4hrs on the weekend washing up underneath, then hitting any of the rust spots with a with wire brush and some rust paint. Today had krown do the application. In the spring time I do a similar activity, but just use the free can of spray and may buy 1 extra to do my own application. Still looking pretty good for a Canadian truck.

Looks great! What rust paint are you using and do the wheel wheel liners help or hurt with rust? I ask because I'm wondering if they hold/hide road chemicals. I don't have them and wonder if they would help with long term protection.

I use EvapoRust first then just tremclad. I popped the liners off in spring when i was flipping over to the summer tires and it looked good under them. Biggest pain is actually getting under truck with a hot soapy bucket and scrub brush, the liners have helped with just one less area to worry about.

Krown for the win. I don’t bother with the cleaning first and just hit mine with another layer. So far so good on our 21 as well.

I haven't seen EvapoRust in a spray bottle but assuming you spray or brush it on?

I've seen Fluid Film become a dirt magnet making a sludge like mess. Does Krown work the same way?

Brush on the evaporust.

Krown is a much thinner oil and I don't find it making a sludge. I do use Fluid Film on my travel trailer, snowmobile and trailer, snowblower, and boat trailer, I do notice if you apply it heavy you will see the build up, but it's not really that bad.
