Curious who you are all with? I'm with TD MM and my premium jumped over $1200 this year. Thanks

We are with ThePersonal through a corporate plan. I know a lot of factors go into premium. We have been paying $1100/yr, full coverage, full replacement value, primary and 2 occasional drivers (one being 18). Last ticket was 20+ yrs ago, no claims. Renew in June and have heard that a lot of rates are skyrocketing this year.

I’m with Wawanesa, I got a quote from TD and it was just about it double. Which is funny because sled insurance is was cheaper with TD. Got a quote from belaire direct and it was close to mine so I didn’t switch

Mine went up to $1400 this year with Desjardins. Pretty sure it was around $1100 last year. They're telling me prices have gone up 30% in a lot of cases this year. I have the multi-car and house discounts too. Getting crazy.

1500 with Desjardins. My broker is telling me it's going to go up due to theft and inflation/COVID driven increases in repair and replacement costs.

Still cheaper than my 1997 Civic was though. That little thing cost me 2500 a year a decade ago.

I am already paying near to 3200 with home insaurance discount.
My legs are shaking hearing you all got an increase and mine is due renewal next month!

I also did install the TAG tracking device to avoid a $500 surcharge.

Not necessary as F150 in the insurance world does not recognize the truck as high risk for theft at this time. So I’m told from my Broker. Now the C8 Corvette is high risk. TAG there to save the $500 definitely a must. Especially when Intact and Speedy Autoglass had a promo for TAG. I paid like $189 and Intact paid the rest. Only good for 5 years as the batteries die. The you have to pay again.

Try Sonnet, online.

I take insurance companies to appraisal/mediation on the regular representing the policyholder, now this is building property, not auto.

The state of insurance is a disaster, behind closed doors, all the guidelines etc, your head will spin. We regularly increase settlements from 40%-400% due to their internal guidelines and preferred vendor network.
