Anyone dealing with the On Board Service Required Message? I’ve had my truck for about 2 months and have noticed that this message appears anytime the truck gets wet or if the temp drops below 50 degrees. Generator works fine in dry conditions with temps above 50 degrees. Dealership has looked at it a couple of times. They initially thought it was a software update issue but it didn’t fix it. Curious to see if anyone else has had this issue and what was done to resolve it.

I've read 2 other reports by 2023 owners describing the same symptoms.
I wonder if this is a new/latest "SSN" problem popping up suddenly?

I’ve read on the other forum about a couple of connectors not well sealed against weather on the underside rear I believe. Water got in there and caused a problem. They solved the problem by drying and re-sealing the connection.

I haven’t had the SSN message yet. Just the issue with the generator.

I recently wrapped those connections with weatherproof tape. It hasn’t made a difference. The puzzling thing for me is the generator not working when it’s below 50 degrees

I disassembled the Pro-Power panel in the bed to check out the wiring. There is an "O-ring" that encircles the panel periphery. It is very difficult to get it back in place when you put the panel back. Also it has a break in it at its bottom point. The symptoms you describe indicate a moisture leak somewhere. Its not difficult to take apart and reassemble this panel other than getting that "O-ring" where it should be. One way to keep it in place is to use a thin coat of sticky grease to keep it where you want it to be.

Bought my XLT PowerBoost last September, have under 2,500 miles on it and haven't used the ProPower yet, but started getting the "...requires service..." message a couple months ago. Took it back to the dealer and they had to replace the inverter. So far it seems to be okay, but again I don't currently drive it a lot.
