Ok, I'm a little confused.

I really like the front LED lights... the big "C". What are those called?

I would like it to be 'always on', but just got my truck and haven't figured out when it is, versus when it isn't - how to make it so it's always on (forscan?). Also seen reference to 'bambi' lights, but that seems to be involving only the high-beams....

As for my headlights, I have them set to the third setting - AUTO, which I assume most people do.

Can someone bring clarity to my confusion please? Thanks in advance..

(Yes, I do have the forscan app, installed, registered and have the adapter so I can make whatever changes...)

Not sure, but I think the outer portion on the LEDs serve as your daytime running lamps.
About the only way for you to verify in the daylight, is to pull up in front a a big mirror and have a look while in drive.
Or get someone that trusts you to stand in front of the truck.
These may not come on at all if in PARK or if the e-brake is set
My spouses Trailblazer—DRL only come on when out of park. (Auto lamp)
My old K1500 (stick) only with parking brake released. ( no auto lamp)

From what I've noticed, my DRLs stay on from the time I unlock or approach the vehicle until I turn it off and lock it. Headlight dial in the auto position. ETA maybe the behavior is different for the 502A lights

I believe the DRLs stay on unless the following is met:
- The indicator/blinker is engaged (only turns off DRLs on the engaged side)
- Hi-Beams are on
- Fog lights are on

I believe all other scenarios keep the DRLs running. At least that’s what I’ve understood from Ford manuals in the past.
