Oil smell

I have a 2021 f150 with the 3.5 eco boost. After driving for 20+km I start to get a hot oil smell through the a/c vents. Also when I get out of the truck the front hood is very hot.

FYI, we smelled something similar the first time we pulled our trailer (just across town). I assumed it was paint or protective oil burning off the turbos and/or exhaust.

It quickly became less and less noticeable during the next couple of trips.

Do get yours checked out though!

Cliffy89, I have a 5.0L with just over 100 miles now and have a similar burning oil smell. Was there ever a fix? Perhaps it just went away? Thanks.
