That is exactly the sound my truck is making. It is also a bit louder when you are in reverse and back up). It's LOUD.

Yes...at cold start up you can't hear it. When it gets to operating temp...the noise starts. Driving me batty. I just want Ford to make it right.

agree. My 2022 whines and no one told me about that when I was looking into buying one. I should have listened to my Dodge RAM friends.

My brand new 2022 F150 XLT FX4 with the 5.0L engine (less than 140 miles on it now) has the same exact whining sound. Ford has assigned a case number to my issue, and I dropped the truck off at the dealership yesterday. This is not acceptable for a truck I spent this much money on and waited...

I also noted that I can not hear it upon cold start up. It occurs as soon as it warms up. :-(

Contact Ford as they monitor this Forum. Get them to give you a case number after answering a few questions:
