Has anyone run both sets of these before? I was set on the 35x11.50x20 Ridge Grapplers, but the Yokohama Geolander M/T looks really good as well. Wondering if these tires would hold up to the ridge grapplers. I rotated mine old set of RG's every 5k miles and they got to 50k miles before they were done. Would the Yokohama's have similar results? Any comparable noise?

Ridge Grappler
Diameter: 34.76"
Tread Depth: 18.2
Width: 11.42"
Weight: 71.4 lbs

Yokohama Geolander M/T
Diameter: 34.8"
Tread Depth: 21
Width: 11.3"
Weight: 67.7 lbs

I love Yokohama…..would certainly be my pick. Have you looked at Toyo?

Its interesting the Hybrid Nitto weighs more then the MT tire. I ran the RG for a few months, couldn't for the life of me get them to balance so i had vibration from 34-55mph. Thats just my experince as the nitto is super popular as you know.

I have looked at Toyo, but they are heavier than both options listed at 73 lbs.

Ive had like 6 sets of Ridge Grappler, coworkers have 50K or more and still have tread. All friends and coworkers swear by them.

sorry to tell you, but this isn’t an apples to apples comparison.

Besides one being a hybrid and one being an MT? If you look at the specs for both tires, they are very similar.

Not technically a driver, just a spec that would weigh into the decision. Heavier the tire, the more the truck would work to push it. Toyo OC MT's are a great tire, I have run them before. I was more interested in the topic of the Yokohama though, as the reviews I have read online make it seem like people love them and I think they look just as good as the OC MT's, with less weight and less cost. Just really looking to branch out and try something new.

Ok, I ran the Yokohama set on the FJ for a few years, they are wonderful
