Night Vision Camera ( Factory)

I was scrolling thru the Ford parts for my truck and ran across a Night Vision Camera . Anyone know what exactly this is used for and if it is just plug and play?

Without a part number, screen shot, link, etc...it is impossible to know.

However, a night vision camera is a camera designed to work in very low light conditions, so it could be used to navigate trails, roadways, etc... without the headlights on at night, or reverse lights if this is an alternate for the backup camera, or maybe its an alternate for the cargo/bed camera so you can see you load while driving at night...but those are the best assumptions I have.

Does your XLT have Blue Cruise? Funny that it would say it will fit...cause if you don't currently have the option/system that supports it...it won't fit. It's the camera the truck uses to make sure you are still paying attention to the road.
