Was driving across the US/Canada border today. Even though I wasn’t using the NAV it warned me I was approaching a Country border, and as I crossed it said “ Welcome to Canada” !

Wonder if Google maps does that?

Google even does the welcome thing for states. I get it all the time when I cross into Michigan from Wisconsin.

Apple maps carplay/iOS also does the state border crossing welcome, kinda neat.

I think it’s great that Google and Apple are mirroring things across the platforms, makes device swaps easier

The thing I just found.... that on the Nav screen...the road turn a darker grey when Blue Cruise(Hands free) is availible. Before I never knew if the road I was on....supported hands free...unless I activate adaptive cruise.

Never noticed on Nav. Same affect in the FordPass app.
l just leave Adaptive Cruise Control on and let the truck switch to BlueCuise or Lane Keeping. Some roads I use are not BlueCruise the entire length.

I have a question about the Nav system.
When looking at the nav screen without a route entered it shows colors indicating slow traffic, yellow, red, on the road. If you have a destination running, the route is covered with a blue line, Is there a way to see traffic conditions when using the routing function?

Nav screen shows traffic conditions if using destination routing. Nav may use another nearby route. Nav may also suggest an alternate route and ask permission to change the route. But it's no Waze.

I use google or apple maps.
Can you screen mirror Waze to the 12" display and dash screen as well?
I've heard waze is good but like how apple maps is so integrated into the truck.

Just used mine last night and on my truck it does change the colors on the route for traffic (SoCal freeways in the evening, so lots of colors), as well as adding the traffic color the route completion bar on the right. I never changed a setting to enable this.
