Hey all, first post here but longtime lurker. I’m in the process of possibly picking up a 14th gen (‘21 Platinum FX4) and wanted to get an idea of wheels/tires fitment - I do plan on a 2” level to mitigate the rake.

I’d love to be able to transfer my existing wheels & tires from my 5th gen Ram 1500. They are 20x9 -12mm offset on 295/60-20 Mickey Thompson Baja Boss, so ~34”. The bolt pattern is different, so I’d need hubcentric adapters.

I’m a bit concerned about poke at -12mm offset combined with a 1.5”-2” adapter (maybe fender flares are in order) but in general, will this setup fit without rubbing?

Anyone running a similar setup? Or should I bite the bullet and buy new wheels/tires (or keep my existing tires)? Thanks, everyone!

Honestly, I'd look at another set of rims. In my time in the online car community, nothing good usually comes from using wheel adapters... Typically you end up putting extra stress on ball joints, battle weird tire wear, and lots of odd vibrations.

If you can find the adapter you're looking for, try them, but make sure they have a good return policy...

edit: These exist out there, but minimum 1" thickness. https://www.ezaccessory.com/Wheel_Adapters_6x135_To_6x5_5_p/6135-6550b.htm

So -12 mm offset + 25 mm spacer = 37 mm out from the hub.

Stock offset is +44 mm, from some quick online searching... That's a huge difference.

I'm using this for offset reference... https://www.tirerack.com/upgrade-garage/what-is-wheel-offset
