I purchased a 2021 Tremor mid-level on Friday, and have been STUMPED by two issues. I’ve been all over internet, and called Ford Pass support yesterday for issue #1, but would love to know if anyone else has had these issues:
1. Ford Pass - I have followed the instructions about 30 times now, including with support on the phone. And have performed 2 master resets on the SYNC system. I am able to get the application on my phone to the point where it says Activation Pending, but I never receive the message on the SYNC system to allow. From this point, if I perform master reset, my phone immediately receives a notification that request was denied, and it goes back to Activate button. Support did tell me that a dealer email address was already tied to my VIN (likely they gave the truck out as a loaner and setup Ford Pass to monitor locations etc.). They have requested that the address be removed so we’ll see where we are on Monday. But any thoughts from the Forum?
2. All of the buttons on the Navigation screen are “greyed out” and unavailable. For example, the Search button (spyglass) is completely unresponsive. As are the other buttons below it. If I go to the Navigation settings, all of the options under there are unavailable as well. Can’t find anything online regarding this issue.
