New OTA update after 3.5.4?

Lol so it's a catch 22 ? If I understand correctly, I shouldn't apply the FDRS update? Or does the FDRS update now apply the newest software without creating the headlight issue because of the 1009 ota? I'm Confused ? ?

If you got PU1009, STOP! Don’t do anything more. PU1009 is the re-release of the BCM update Ford screwed up last summer. Except this one works. What shows up in FDRS now will undo PU1009.

It’s even more insidious than just not pulling it. If you have a blank slate in FDRS—no BCM updates—and then you get PU1009, the BCM update undoing it immediately appears.

I received the 1009 OTA on 2/16 at that point my Fordpass version was 4.24.1 Fordpass notified me of the pending install and the following day displayed the successful install. And also appeared in Fordpass messages.

On 2/20 Fordpass Android version updated to 4.24.3

On Friday 2/24 the truck recieved and successfully installed the 1007 OTA, but this time there was no notification in Fordpass regarding the pending or successfull install. Also no alert in Fordpass messages.

Could there be a problem with the Fordpass version 4.23.3 and it not showing install and notifications of install? Or messages?

Just very strange ?

I have the same problem. Update 1007 on Friday no notification on the app. I also check the Web site and it doesn't say it was update either.

My FP is ios. Mine successfully updated in the truck but FP still says its a 3 part and only on second. It's been like that a couple days but the updates in the truck are done.
Truck said it was ok. So, something is not communicating with the mothership.

Ya, I've always keep the messages in the Fordpass app as kind of a history for OTA installs. Mostly so I know we're I'm at. Just bugged that this doesn't show as a history for me. Not the end of the world either, but can't ford get anything right

Even using this trick ?gnav=header-account on Ford site. Nothing says it was update.

Similar experience here. I checked Sync for update and truck showed update was scheduled to install later that night at 2am but I went ahead and downloaded and installed PU1007successfully. But FordPass still doesn’t show the update 2 days later. Using FordPass v4.24.0 on IOS.

Same here. Got notice of this update which required the truck to be shut down. It said it needed 38 minutes to install. Went to check on it about an hour later. The update successful icon was showing at the top of the screen. No notification via Ford Pass or through the hack of Ford Owners site. Even if the process is imperfect, I'll take it. I feel lucky to be getting these updates on a job 1 '21 via OTA.
