Really? I have the same tire size and zero rubbing. Guessing the just the offset difference of your wheel vs my Gen1 Raptor wheels?
I don't rub but I think anything beyond my +18 will. I have just enough room for full travel but ended up ditching the dam anyways.

Very badass and the mods are very tastefully done. Love that look !
Curious if you are happy with 285/70 or if you had to do it all over again you would go one size up ? Cause it looks like you have the room ?

I've gone back and forth on this... maybe next tire will be a 285/75 or a 295/70 (both about an inch taller = ~33.8" diameter) but considering the loss in acceleration (more circumference/weight), loss in MPG (weight), possibility of needing to trim things for full articulation, and slightly reduced towing/torque (more circumference) I think I'll go with 33s again. Interested to see what OP says...

EDIT: Another benefit of the 285/70 size is they're a standard truck tire size and much easier to find/replace if you have a total failure on a trail, especially at a middle of nowhere service station or down in Baja or something. Therefore, cheaper too.

Any thoughts on the bestop vs the softtopper? I'm going to be in the market for one once my truck shows up.

From an off-road perspective I wish I had a slightly bigger tire like I used to have on my Excursion, but these worked just fine for me on my last outing. I selected these tires based on availability, weight, and the fact that I didn't need to trim anything to make them work. As this is my daily, I wanted to try to retain as much fuel economy as possible while also being capable off-road and I think this size tire does just that. I spent endless hours researching different weights of different sized tires (since that's the main mpg killer). I'm happy with it for now!

They are both great from what I can tell. I love my Bestop. It has excellent fit and finish, very durable, easy to deploy and stow, and great at keeping water/rain out. The main reason I went with Bestop vs Softopper was the reviews. I read endless negative reviews about softopper customer service, delayed deliveries (months and months) etc. I am going with a different bed setup and my bestop is for sale in the marketplace section of the forum :)

Great build that is what I am hoping to do with my 2023 f150 if I have ever get it delivered. 2 inch lift with 33 inch tires. Did you lose much acceleration and mpgs?

No noticeable difference in acceleration, still a very quick truck. I lost about 2mpg driving conservatively. Tire size and weight has the biggest impact on that.

@mxwrk can you specify which version of the previous generation 2.0 kit? Seems like there’s fox, ford, and rousch variants out there for 2015-2020.

On my receipt from camburg it shows:
985-02-015: FOX Ford F-150 4wd '14-20 2.0 IFP Front Coilover

I haven’t checked to see if that’s a fox PN or not
