New bumpers chrome delete

I want to replace my chrome bumpers with color matched ones. Are there any downsides with the eBay off brand bumpers and get them painted? Or would it be best to just wrap the chrome

I bought some aftermarket replacement bumpers for my kids car and 1 fit well and 1 was very poor fitment. It’s the risk you take.

That’s what I was worried about. I didn’t want to get them painted and a year later they would rust

For my E250 Econoline I went to LineX and they stripped the chrome and applied their textured material. Its been three years and looks as good as new.
