MY 2022 Are we done now?

So, not seeing any official build notifications this week. Not seeing many folks getting bui notifications, the few posting seem very random as far as the timing, like tieing up loose ends. Wondering if it’s officially time to call it a MY. Anyone know anything?

Per this post 2022 F150 production will run well into October, at least at KC, just before production for 2023 MY is scheduled to begin there.

Absence of special order build posts on this forum tells you nothing about 2022 MY production for special orders at large, dealer inventory, fleet sales, gov't sales, etc (by all accounts Ford has a lot of catching-up to do on all market fronts).

I guess you can "call it a MY" at whatever milestone you want, but methinks Ford won't 'officially call it' until at least the last 2022 VIN rolls off the last assembly line; they may not 'officially call it' until the last 2022 VIN on some sort of 'hold' is ready for shipment or shipped, which could be even later.

I've no idea what milestone 'Ford Corporate' uses to 'call the MY' but I know if I had any responsibility at all for this crazy / chaotic production year I'd not really relax, breathe-easy, and put it behind me until the last damned 2022 VIN is in the hands of a shipper!

I got my build week (9/19) and VIN last Wednesday. I ordered 4/15 so I was sure I was going to get pushed to a 23. Being a Dearborn build I know time is running out. My truck is pretty loaded so maybe they have the supply issues sorta worked out? I read most of the threads and it seems like less people are getting bumped back. Hopefully you all get scheduled before Oct.

I think I understand what you’re saying here, but, scheduling for production dates are running right up near to October now.

Well I haven't received my truck since I originally ordered it back on 5/1/21 (not a typo). I do have a VIN, but that's about it. I was told that it's coming soon. I laugh at that. Maybe, just maybe I will be able to get it by the end of the year, so I can use my $3500 PCO credit after they jacked up the price $4100.

If you have a VIN, it will be built.
It might be the very last 22 off the line, but it will get built

No, they aren't done yet. I'm am scheduled for Sunday. There are several 8/1 build week trucks in here.

Didn’t see anything too. I will contact Ford Canada to get some news today. With the only info coming from my dealer (who is still responsive), I’m not impressed by the communications from Ford for the size of my purchase.

Was talking about scheduling, not building them. Doesn’t matter to me anymore, canceled my order this morning. Good luck all.
