I am still in process of doing this build. I initially ditched the ridiculous Hankook 33"s "AT" tires and swapped out for Falken Wildpeak AT3W 33"s (275/60/20). There was nothing wrong with the Falkens - damn fine tire. However, after getting my ReadyLift 2" level, the wheel well just dwarfed those 33's and I was wanting... more. So in constant search of the next fix, the great folks at Discount Tire swapped out my Falkens for 285/65/20 KO2s (the Falkens at that size are too heavy - 71 lbs vs. 63 for the KO2). Now, we are getting close. The 34.5" KO2s fill the wheel well so nicely. There is no rub at full lock, even in reverse. Pretty sure others have confirmed that using the stock 20" wheels and a 2" level, you can run 285/65/20, and I can confirm that as well. Still, I find myself wanting... more.

So, I am a fan of a slight bit of poke. Not too much, just outside of the wheel well. These +44 stock wheels basically keep everything tucked in. The question I have for you guys is simple. Considering the tire size, the 2" level and the geometry involved, how aggressive an offset can one go with on an aftermarket wheel with this existing setup?

I would think +18-20 would still be safe. I would like to ditch the Platinum wheels (not terrible, but I'm not a huge fan) and there are options that can reduce the increase I just bought in tire weight by using lighter wheels (the Brink line featured on this forum seems like a solid option, along with a few Fuels that are around 34#s). Your thoughts and feedback are appreciated.

+18-20 will push your wheels out about an inch. I’d turn your wheels and measure how much space you have left between tire and the crash bars.
