Mirrors don't unfold when approached

2023 F-150 Lariat Hybrid.

Are the side mirrors supposed to unfold when I approach the vehicle with key fob (without touching the door handle and without unlocking the vehicle? I could swear they did when I took delivery last week, but now they do not.

The "welcome lights" Thgo on, but not movement in the mirrors.

Yes, "autofold" is enabled in Settings|Vehicle|Mirrors. This makes the mirrors fold in automatically when I turn the truck off.

Am I just imagining that the mirrors used to unfold on approach, or did something go wrong?

FWIW, when I took delivery, the SYNC4 told me there was an available update, and I downloaded it. Perhaps not coincidentally, the update says "Your vehicle's window, mirror, and lock controls have been updated for more reliable performance..." (That being said, I think it worked as expected until a day or two after the update.)

Any thoughts?

Already answered this question on the "other" forums earlier this AM. Mirrors only fold/unfold when you lock/unlock.

Thanks to all. I guess I was mistaken in recalling that they once did. Been trying to wrap my head around all the technology.
