Is there a way to get the side mirrors to tilt lower automatically when in reverse?

I can't confirm nor deny the actual answer, but I've seen this question asked before on the forums. The general consensus seems to be to set the mirrors in the tilted down position, and save those settings to slot 3 on your memory seat controls. The only downside is you have to press 3 when you are stopped before you start reversing. But it does work.

I've read the same Q and read the same response about 3rd memory.
My daughter's $16k, 2015 Terrain has this, but my $75k Platinum doesn't.

Glad you replied with this idea. Never thought of it. Will work well for me.

As i recall, there is a setting in the FORScan bible that talks about Lincoln Mirrors where they auto tilt when going into reverse. Again, if I recall correctly, enabling it disables something else, maybe puddle lights....? Anyway, the setting up of memory 3 sounds like a better option IMHO...

EDIT: Nevermind. I was on crack. I was thinking of the Lincoln mirror autofold... Onward....
