Trying to get a thread started for trucks in the Middle East where updates aren’t possible over OTA and need to be done with FDRS as a DIY project. Obviously we don’t get OTA updates, FordPass, WiFi connectivity and WiFi hotspot.
Personally I was frustrated with lack of updates on my truck and eventually went down the FDRS and mongoose route and the elders here were superb to get me across the line. Needless to say, the truck runs smoother.
How has your experience been? What SYNC4 versions do your trucks run and do different countries in Middle East get different flavors of restrictions?
