My previous truck has a framed sliding rear window. Once in a while when I need a piece or two of 16' molding I would pass it through the window and put a towel on the dash. I see how the ford window is set up and wondering if I should bother ordering it that way. Seems like I would push some molding through, hit a bump and break the glass. Anyone pass molding through that window? I often us a bed extender but when transporting molding I need to either bring a 2"x4"x16' or buy one to support the molding.
