Leather seats in an XLT

IMO Katzkin covers are nicer tha the oem

agreed, my wifes Enclave has factory leather, mines much softer.

I have factory leather in my 09 Lariat. I wore thru the leather on the driver’s seat bottom around 230k miles. The seams were fine, but the raised area on the seat bottom wore clear thru. It was the side closest to the door. I replaced the bottom section with new leather I got off Amazon. That seems much longer than the after market ones.

I have the Katzkin Leather seats on my XLT. Cost me $1500 CAD. They look so much better than the XLT Black Appearance Package leather (vinyl) IMO. The stitching is a direct match, they're soft and have perforations. The XLT Black package ones look a little cheap to me.

I know i saw this somewhere what is the only package you need to get ,to get the leather seats on the Xlt ,i need a superb so Lariat is out but need leather thanks.

I have a BAP xlt which comes with factory leather. It isn't true leather, neither is Katzkin unless you purchase the 100% leather panels. Too much hassle to change the seats, the BAP leather is fine.

On my last Lariat, I removed the factory leather and put 100% katskin. I did notice the cooling seat wasn't as powerful with the Katskinz and yes, the leather through Katskinz was optioned for cooled seats.

Besides that, they were great. I traded that truck in but took all the seats out and swapped with my Dad's Lariat. To this day, his truck smells like leather inside.

Ebay is full of new take off Lariat leather. If you want a bargain solution you can get OEM sets for under $300.
