My truck has been in production status since 1/11 and I got the window sticker 1/12 its now 1/13 and its still in production stuatus does this mean its actually being built or just scheduled it originally had a build date of 1/19 either way its not bad i ordered it on 12-3
That’s really good considering you ordered on 3 December and they were off 2 weeks for Christmas and new year’s. I ordered on 7 January so I’m figuring no later than the end of March if there are no glitches. I’m hoping it could be a little sooner.

things you need to know -

IMPORTANT FACT - No price is locked in until day of delivery and payment. This includes Ford offers and specials. YOU can walk at any time. The longer this takes, the more specials you are going to get to take advantage of (March is truck month). You will get all the new deals you qualify on, on that ACTUAL DELIVERY date. A dealer can only now promise you things on the dealers projected profit line - not Fords. Dealers have ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA what those specials will be.

That being said, you agreed to purchase something on a Ford advertised price and they should and will honor it if you fight for it. Ford would definitely let the dealer do it, they knew the risks in raising/adjusting price.

My deal with my dealer was simple : I pay $1000 below Ford invoice, plus I get any Ford offers on delivery/pay date.
In December I locked in final price including trade in value (still driving trade in until new truck arrives) including ad valorem, doc fee and title fee. This included the $2500 incentive that expired 1/4/21 as well as an additional discount of $2763 with a $3,000 deposit. Paperwork

I locked in my price in December when new truck was ordered including trade in value and they let me keep driving trade in until new truck arrives. They gave me a final price difference which included ad valorem, doc and tag fee. They honored $2500 incentive which expired 1/4/21 as well as gave me an additional $2800 discount. Got good value on trade in as I wanted to lock in trade in price. I gave them a 3k deposit and will pay difference in trade vs purchase when new truck arrives. Paperwork signed and deal finalized.
