I saw a Kickstarter for Kimblade wipers shortly after I ordered my truck last year and wanted to try them out. My wife needed new wipers on her car, so I decided to order 2 sets from Amazon and try them out on my truck too. I didn't need replacement blades yet, but figured why not. I got the set with the cleaner and windshield treatment included, since I wanted to have the experience as close to what they advertised as possible.
The cleaning kit and treatment doesn't seem to be anything special. It basically acts like a Rain-X treatment, so I'm not sure how special it really is. If you do order them, you can do two vehicles with one kit if you want, which is what I did. One thing to note as it isn't out there anywhere I saw before buying, the cleaner and treatment are supposed to be used when temps are >50°F. It should be done after washing your vehicle with a wet windshield and also recommends not using it in direct sunlight.
Since there's very little information out there on them, I wanted to post here. I've now gotten to use the wipers a few times and my initial impression is that they're good. They work as well as the original wipers on my truck, same probably the best wipers I've ever had on my wife's vehicle (2nd Gen RDX). Given they've only been used a few times in the past 2 weeks, it's hard to tell how well they do over time. I've never had issues with new wipers, but after 3-6 months they seem to always start streaking slightly regardless of style or brand. I'm hopeful that these don't have that problem. I'll come back and update this later this year to rate the long term performance.
