Just bought a used 2021 that hasn't had Sync updated

I am going to give the dealer a shot at fixing it since I also have the unintended tailgate opening CSP that needs to be done. I'm going to ask them to make sure everything is updated when they do that.

Unattended tailgate CSP they don't do anything unless you go in there complaining about it opening by itself. Then they will need it a few days as the CSP involves them creatively running single wire front to back outside of wiring harness.

Dealer said they could do the updates, but it would be 6 hours of shop time and would not be covered by my warranty. But, they are going to see if they can just replace the APIM under warranty which would take care of the updates.
