I currently own a 2021 f-150, just last night I got the message front park aid not available sensor blocked, see manual. The sensors are perfectly clean and look perfect, any suggestions? And I looked up a part number and it’s hard to find one with chrome bumper, if anyone knows please let me know, also, if I remove the piece between the grill and the bumper do I have access to these sensors? Or do I need to remove front bumper..

Thanks in advance

My 2022 Platinum does that regularly
I just wiggle the connector at the sensor and it works fine again.
It seems to happen every couple of months

The warning can be a little misleading if it's true that the windshield camera (rear view mirror area mounted) can be included as a malfunctioning front facing sensor.

So, also check if the glass is clean?

How do you reach the connectors. I went under the truck and cannot reach any of them up front, there are six sensors in the front, I have access to the passenger and driver fender sides, as for the front…. Do I need to remove something to have the access??

Thanks

The sensor I had to reach was drivers side corner and my small hands allow me to reach in and wiggle it. You are correct, the one you need to access is closed in. It’s happened on rear sensor as well and those are easily accessible

Do you know if I have to remove the whole bumper to get to it? Or just the trim between bumper and grill.

To be honest I’m not sure what to remove to access the one you’re having the problem with. I’m currently away from my truck, so can’t look at this for awhile
