Is it possible to replace front grille emblem without removing grill?

Tried the search function on this as I’m sure it’s been asked a thousand times but was not having much luck.

Can someone confirm whether I can replace the front grill emblem without taking the whole damn thing off? I understand it’s not that hard but I’m notorious for making a 30 min job a 3 hour struggle fest. Links to a how to video would be a plus lol

Just pulled fiber through pre-existing TWO YEAR OLD conduit from my house to my shop.
Was such a nightmare I hired an electrician....
It was difficult for him also. About ready to call it quits when he pulls out his camera and finds a break in the conduit at 54'.... Snaked the dirt and tried again and got it done.
77' pull should have taken 5-10 mins, ended up taking 2.5hrs and a pricey bill....

No, unfortunately you have to pull the grill and then remove the shutters to get to the nuts that hold it in place.

I saw a video where a guy did it, had to go between the shutters with an extension and a mirror, and used a magnet to catch the 2 or 3 nuts. Tried to find it, but no luck. But it can be done, with patience, by pulling the cover over the radiator and shutters.

I’ve done but you’d have to be very creative, 1/4” ratchet and swivels, magnet, and lots of pain

Huh, didn't know that it could be done. I can’t imagine that being easier as it only takes 10min to remove the grill.

I have his grill and tailgate ones on my truck. They are a nice quality overlay. You will be waiting 6 months to get them so be ready and patient as there will not be weekly updates or anything of that sort. Be sure to watch the install on their site or might even be some out there on youtube. My recommendation for install is to use a piece of blue painters tape over the emblem (it's a muti-layer piece) to hold it together while you remove the white paper backing. ISFP does ship them with a small piece of plastic over them but I recommend adding the blue tape as well.

I was worried about it taking a long time as well but ended up taking the grille off and it was actually not that difficult of a task. There are a couple of YouTube videos I followed. Also instead of taking the entire shutter system off I just removed 2-3 of the slats on each side and it made the job much easier. Here is a good video to watch that helps lay out most of the issues you will face. Good Luck.
