Interior lighting issue

I’ve had my tremor 401a for about 2 weeks now and i can’t figure out how to turn off the one ambient light that I have in the rear seats. It shines down on the charging ports on the center console and I noticed today that it just stays on even after I lock the truck. Anyone know if this is a problem? I’m afraid it’ll drain my battery and I guess I just never noticed this light before. There is no ambient lighting option in the dashboard either or any button that I could find to control it. Any help is appreciated.

That's actually a good way to verify that your truck has shut down completely. Which is supposed to happen within 75 minutes, I believe I read somewhere in the service manual.
There's evidence that some trucks are not going into "sleep mode" adequately and thus the parasitic draw takes its toll on the 12V system. While I don't think that ambient lighting itself is much of a threat, it IS an indication that the truck is still more awake than it should be at some point.

Nope. Light was still on when I left for 5-10 minutes.

mine goes dark some where between 10 to 25 minutes. my mistake is walking by it with key in pocket so it wakes up enough to start the noise under the hood
i have had it wake up, with no key and me just walking by. i suspect the "watcher" is pretty sensitive

Mine does the same thing when I walk by with no key. How the hell does it wake up when I just walk by with no key in my pocket? It seems like the truck wakes up randomly or never fully shuts down? Had the truck almost a year and hasn't caused any issues, just seems odd.

Maybe it won't happen for those of us getting 2023s which will have the Advanced Security Pack removed?

i truly think the alarm system is so sensitive it can feel your body heat or vibrations or something
just today, i was placing my tools on ground next to driver side on the ground, key was in house
truck made a noise under hood. or they are possessed
i had not yet touched the truck. and i didnt drop my tools.
