Humming noise starting around 25 MPH

Has anyone heard a humming noise starting around 25 MPH? I have a 21 XLT FX4 w/5.0. The noise started this weekend and I can’t tell where it’s coming from. You can set the cruise control and it makes the noise when it’s accelerating but if you go down a hill the noise goes away. Also if you speed up the humming noise doesn’t seem to get worse. The sound reminds me of a truck my dad had with a 4 speed manual transmission. It always sounded like it needed a higher gear. I haven’t had any transmission issues other than occasional hard shifts mainly between 5th and 6th. I have an appointment with dealership in two weeks to repair rear differential leak. Any advice is appreciated.
