How to remove the steering wheel shroud

Trying to do the Boosted upfitter install and a few of the instructions are “remove steering wheel shroud”…but how?

I have the lower shroud pieces removed and it APPEARS that the shroud over the column is two pieces but it isn’t clear to me how they are connected and how they come apart.

any insight from the collective brain trust?

the only caveat is you need to do this before the battery is disconnected
