In your photo there’s the pin layouts for impa. I don’t have a 8 inch screen. I do have a 12 inch screen. But my brown connector on the IPMA doesn’t have any pins connected to pin1. In your diagram it says pin 1 is connected to apim which I thought I didn’t need because I have a 12 inch screen. My question is. Do I need a pin to apim like diagram pointed out. Here’s a screen shot of what I’m talking about.

I cannot seem to lift the flap. I’m scared I’m gonna break it at this point. Any tips lol

it’s not easy. Did you watch my video? Take a very small flathead, like glasses size, and stick it in the center, gently rotate it. You can also try to go in from the sides. The clip comes directly out, so you don’t want to pry toward the front, sides, or rear direction. Just straight out like you are lifting it off the connector. My best advice is to try and do the other side or try on the brown one to get the feel. I broke one, and just ordered another cable to get that piece because I’m OCD LOL. I broke one because I had taken mine in and out probably 10 times each.

Hey @ Tlusk7 Finished install (except cargo cam) but having an issue that none of my cameras work I get a black screen then this in reverse and nothing comes up when I press the camera button on the dash. IPMA was flashed by Jesse.
Also the IPMA-APIM harness (part #ML3Z-10E929-BLA) pin 1 was only a foot long no way that would reach the APIM so I used the coax from the unused pin 3 and swapped them to get the needed length. Any guidance would be appreciated ?

I pulled up that part number and it appears fine in the pic. Are you sure you got the correct part?

do you have anything on pin 4? What year is your truck? I’m not sure how you get video signal to the APIM unless it’s not coax and going through the harness.

I pulled up that part number and it appears fine in the pic. Are you sure you got the correct part?

Here’s a picture of the part number and harness. You can see the top left(pin1) on the brown connector has an extremely short coax to the new brown connector that would normally go to the APIM.

Hello. I have a similar question about adding the 360 cameras(mostly the front camera) to a 2025 Ranger. I’ve tried searching but couldn’t find much help. The Ranger6G forum didn’t have the answer either. Do either of you know much about what it would take to add? Thanks in advance

This installation attempt is on my 2021 lariat. The ipma I got is: ML3T14G647-NA the issue is not the camera. I was able to plug in brown slot 2 on the older ipma and got color image from it. But when I use the the used ipma from eBay I got it just gives out green color video. I took it out plugged it in the new impa brown slot and it gave me a blue screen. And when I plug the front and back camera to the grew slot slot 1 and slot 2 it gives both green screens for both cameras. I don’t know what the problem is but im gonna assume I bought a faulty impa? Has anyone got these greenish videos?
Anyway I gave up plugged in my old impa to at least give my my back up camera view back. (And I repeat the front camera plugged into the old impa rear camera slot shows the front camera is okay and not faulty.).

I’m retarded. I forgot to reply back it was because my dumb ass didn’t hook up all the cameras. If u don’t hook up all the cameras that’s what happens. Lol. Anyway I got my 360 camera all hooked up. Spent a total of around 600

Got mine 2021 lariat used with 29k miles for 38k out the door. Lariat 2.7. Got the 360 camera installed for around 600 bucks. Took me months to just be patient with prices. Marketplace has a guy that sold 2 2022 side mirrors with cameras for 200 for both! I missed on that one. I got two for four hundred.

but I bought mine used because I couldn’t wait for a gen four raptor yet. It comes out 2027/2028 is what I heard.
