I have a ‘22 Lariat with the fox leveling kit and 34’s (Falken Wildpeaks) on 20’s. The ride is harsher than i was expecting, bounces over bumps and rides like you’d expect a truck to ride.

I understand the LT tires are the major contributor to the ride. If i want to keep them, but make the ride great, what do i need to do? Full King setup? Would that soak up bumps/etc?

have to get outta them LT tires. can have the best suspension in the world but LT tires will sabotage them motherf*ckers real quick. only other thing i can think of is air suspension but that’s not feasible for the average joe.

whats your psi at? reduce air and use Chalk test to set the right PSI.

Run my wildpeak at 36 cold with an empty bed. Chalk test shows good and tire shop confirmed even wear. Even a few psi helps with compliance. Keep in mind driving pressure will generally be higher than cold pressure so adjust accordingly.

There are always trade-offs with changes to a vehicle's suspension. You went for looks and have a harsher ride as a result.

It does show why changes should be made one at a time and then evaluate the new handling and ride before making a second change.

I became a big fan of the Rancho XL adjustable shocks on my 2500 truck as I could dial in the amount of shock absorption at the front and rear wheels and make changes to the rear ones when the bed had a very heavy load and change them back when the bed was empty.

Running them at 40psi
are they the ones rated at 3750 lbs at 80PSI? So at 40psi thats 1875lbs or 7500lbs total. Wonder if you dropped teh rears to 30 how itd feel.

fox's are a sporty shock compared to the mushy OEM ones. itll feel stiff but also planted to the road. So if thats not what you're after, might wanna reconsider. good luck either way
