I was in line to get gas at a gas station and this guy pulled out from parking and scratched my rear right bumper. He didn’t stop but sped away. It’s not a deep scratch but still, I’m very annoyed! Anyone has an idea of the cost to fix it to a point that it looks like nothing happened to it? Thank you in advanced.

It looks like you could get it 95% fixed with just some polishing compound or cleaner wax. The only thing that looks concerning is the thin line at the top left. It's hard to tell from the photo, but it looks like that section may be damaged beyond the point of just polishing out. If it is beyond that and you want it 100% perfect it would probably need to be repainted.

If you were in line to get gas, does the gas station have cameras? Will they share footage with you if the incident was covered?

I don’t think the station would share the video with me, unless I’m a cop. I made a mistake that I didn’t call the cop at the time. Because it was only a scratch and I needed to be somewhere.

It also would have been nice if you had a dash cam that recorded the front and the back.

Just run a cutting pad then a polishing pad, that will look 95%. You would barely be able to tell.

Sitting at an intersection (with my last truck) waiting for the light to turn green, a car came from behind, hit the car in the lane next to me, bounced off him, sideswiped me and sped off.

I "called the cops" and they said "come to the station and file a complaint".

That should polish out for you just fine. Rubbing compound, polishing compound and a good wax. Done
