Hey All,
I currently have over 90K miles on my 2021 PB. From the time I bought it, I have noticed a very sporadic high frequency (almost feels like a tire on a different surface issue) will come through the truck in .5s or less. It used to do it maybe once or twice per drive, but as the miles have accumulated it seems like it is doing it more often. It usually occurs between 60 and 70mph under constant or under load like a small incline. There is no rpm or pulling change and it does not feel like a transmission shudder. Is anyone else getting this ever so slight vibration?

I'm not sure I understand the 0.5 seconds description....

Where do you feel this? Just in the seat? Steering wheel?

My truck will seem to have a little "buzz" feeling in the gas pedal at times. Maybe a tad annoying but its minor and just a very faint buzz and to me nothing I really worry about.

I feel it in the floor board and steering wheel mainly. The .5s is the duration of the vibration wave. It is either transmission or the hybrid unit. Being it is doing it more on a sight incline it very well could bet he hybrid unit engaging. It is getting worse and worse with the more miles. I'm guessing there will be more doing it too.

OK I have narrowed this down to the following conditions that I can repeat over and over and over.....
1. RPMs have to be under 2K, gear doesn't matter. The lower the rpm the worse the vibration
2. Once it is in hybrid mode (not electric) and your in the light acceleration zone where the engine does not increase rpm, but the hybrid unit is getting more power.... In EVO Coach screen when the hybrid line gets to the letter d the vibration occurs like clockwork and is very repeatable.
3. It has to have something to do with lugging the motor and the hybrid motor hitting a specific power output causing the oscillation/vibration.
4. As stated previously, the truck now has 95K miles on it and the vibration is much more noticeable now than before.
5. I'm guessing others with intermittent vibration can track this down in a similar fashion.

Ford Engineers and Power users, do you think this is an issue headed for a bigger problem?

This mystery is history! While I had the truck in for a trans flush and the works, I mentioned the issue to the dealership. They followed their process and found the truck had a TSB to reflash the trans and bammo it no longer sends a harsh wave through the cab. So if you are experiencing this, flash your tranny and all is good!
