Help with mirrors

I bought some take offs but I’m wondering the differences. One is KFS and the other is KGS. KFS was on my 21 and KGS was off a 22. I see the tag how it says what they have but what’s the difference in SGI and PGI? Both have same number of pins and etc. they have Powerfold and everything. I assume it’s the defroster as 22s were cut? Can someone help me?

This is weird cause the driver side say EC instead of OAT. Just need help from anything of understanding this and if they have heated mirrors

I don't know the difference but just replaced my passenger side mirror and the AC did not work without it plugged in the ambient temp sensor the brown wire controls that and it's a little pricey at $1600 OEM part

I went to the part info website and it pops up as both KA. They both work and the brown wire will only tell through usage. How do I know if it doesn’t work?

I’m trying to figure out what SGI means. I read PGI as Puddle Ground Illumination. Could SGI mean Side Ground Illumination? I could see this as they changed name of things during this time such as the workstation to mobile office.

If the brown wire does not work my A/C did not work had the mirror sitting in my passenger seat until the part came in today its hot in Texas

I know about that, I just want to know what’s the difference is between KFS and KGS. They pop up as the same but I know 22 deleted some features (like heated mirrors) but on the website it says they both have heated. I know KFS has heated but KGS idk.

I have just tested the truck. Everything works, including the AC. I don’t know what else to test. I wouldn’t know how to test the mirror defrost without a thermal camera or it being to warm right now.
