First post, sorry in advance if this is covered somewhere. I ran a 4ga power wire through the passenger grommet for a sub. In the process I ripped the gray/blue wire for cruise control. Now when I start the truck I get the pre-collision not available alert and my cruise control does not work. I've tried to pull the harness out at that grommet to repair the wire, but it's going to be impossible where it tore. I'm looking to run a new wire from c134 to c265, or another, and have the ability to do so. Is there a better option to do this (without replacing the entire harness)? Where is c134? I used the scope camera and didn't find any other damaged wires and nothing else is malfunctioning.

Thanks! After digging through the forums about guys adding the CCM after the fact, I may just make a new cable and go directly from the CCM to c242b.
Your original plan of C134 to C265 is the wisest. If for any reason future work requires harness removal, bypassing can lead to all sorts of issues be it diagnostic or repair. It may also be prudent to tear it down enough to pull as much of C265 out into the engine bay as possible and repair the original wire.

I'd also repair the OG wire.

I'm going to give the original wire another shot in the morning. I was able to get c265 unhooked so I'd have slack to pull a little more out but that wasn't the case. I'm thinking there may be a tab it's tied to holding it. If anything, the CCM to ipma harness would only be temporary so I can keep using my acc. All the original hardware and wires would still be there so I can come back when I'm better prepared to fix it.

Get a heat shrink solder connector. Splice it back together. They work great for this.

Sorry for the revive on an old thread but I was wondering if you've got an update on this? I installed a 4g wire to run an amp and ran a couple lines for my upfitter switches and lost adaptive cruise and front collision. I stuck my camera up there and cant see any damage to the wiring and the forward collision was already acting strange (slammed on brakes driving down empty road with nothing in front of me twice) in the week I owned the truck before doing the install.

Its a 2025 Tremor and I'm worried taking it to the dealer they are just going to blame the install without bothering to look any further. Did you ever get this fixed or is it something I'm just gonna need to bite the bullet on with the dealership?

Here are some pics of the wire harness under the dash, I tried removing the under hood fuse tray but cant find any information on how to get it to release online, I took the bolts holding it to the frame out that I could see and it moves a little but feels like something is still holding it down and don't want to do further damage at this point. It looks like the tape holding the wires is torn but I got the camera around top and it looks like it came through right above the harness, didn't really need to force anything other then throwing some soap on the wire it came right through with the fish tape.
