Thank you everyone. I mean it. That is very helpful. I will plan a new battery install. I saw in another thread about needing to reset something with a new battery replacement. I wish I could find it. What is that and is there a how-to on that reset?

I suppose you need to do that to be squeeky clean with the software... When I purchased and installed that dropin NAPA AGM battery on the road, I just swapped out batteries and got on down the road. I hadn't been enlightened as to the niceties of software management in my truck... I saw zero problems from that.

Here's a video about how to complete the reset manually - your truck's bms will also reset automatically if it's sits for 8 hours/overnight

I don't think overnight will reset the days in use, which is part of BMS calculation. So best to reset it with a new battery.
