HDPP painted bumper protection

Any owners of the Gen 14 F-150 HD payload package (which only comes with black painted bumpers) have good luck with a DIY bumper coating to reduce corrosion? I used to have to paint my 1990 F-150 steel bumpers every year, PITA. Short of removing bumpers and having them bedliner sprayed, I'm wondering about roll-on bedliner products, or any other ideas that have worked well.
