Got a letter from Ford with an invitation to a Raptor Assault camp in Utah and was just curious if anyone has done it? If so what did you think? Videos look pretty cool online and we wanted to take a trip to check out Utah anyway so I was considering it.

I know that the school is very famous. It is important to make sure that it suits your interests and expectations for traveling to Utah. This is exactly what I am doing now for my son. I want to understand if he needs this school. He recently wrote about ambition at school, found https://samplius.com/free-essay-examples/ambition/ for this. I can conclude from what I read later that he has a desire. But I'm waiting for him to offer it to me. And it seems to me that it will look like they say I forced him to go there.
Interesting what you decide. Write down how it will happen.

I personally enjoyed it. If you take a guest for the extra fee you’ll get to share a truck with your +1 rather than someone else attending the school. You trade off and both drivers or driver & guest get to drive each course/obstacle with the exception of the off road excursion you go on late morning where you just trade off at points along the way. It’s a great opportunity to meet other raptor owners from all over, the instructors there are great people, it’s a fun day! I took my dad and he had a blast as well. We attended the dinner the night before which was a casual gathering/meet and greet and good buffet style food. The driving day was a short classroom training in the morning followed by getting truck assignments and then a quick drive over to their outdoor course where you spend a good couple hours doing a few laps on their short course utilizing different drive modes in the truck. Then there’s a hill climb/descent, side hill demonstration, and then I think you all gather and head out into the hills for a catered sack lunch and some fun trail driving. Late afternoon you make your way back to the course where you do the long course which was an absolute blast in my opinion and last but not least a small jump where you can get all 4’s off the ground a little bit. Great day, highly recommend ??

I dont own a Raptor so I havent been invited, but I have been to the complex where they do the training, and it is a well set up course. Ford also runs a driving school for those who purchased an Explorer ST up in Park City where they teach them how to drive the curvy mountain roads. I have run into some of the instructors for that school when I have stayed at the hotel they run out of, and they seem to get very good instructors with good backgrounds and credentials.
