Besides storing your F-150 in the garage, what are some products you would recommend to protect against hail compatible with the F-150? I have insurance, but would rather prevent the damage in the first place so it doesn't lower the vehicle's value.

Thanks. I was thinking of layering large moving blankets on top of the truck and then covering with an F-150-specific cover.

Ive seen pool noodles strung together.. i think 100 of those and some Harbor freight blankets and tarps might be onto something..

I park in the garage, but we do this for the kids cars. I have about 6 moving blankets we layer on top of the cars, and put a waterproof car cover specific to their cars over it. We've been hit with hail and it works. This won't prevent damage from very large hail, but it's good for most situations, and saves me from an insurance deductible.

I seen people toss old/cheap mattresses on the roof/windshield/hood and secured with bungee cords. If it works it works...

Seriously. My neighbors might think we're a little too cautious, but in Oklahoma we get hail all the time. It's saved us twice so far, which is a win for me. Deductible saved.
