Yeah, options are limited in 18’s for sure. I prefer less wheel and more tire for offroad anyways. I had considered a set of 18” methods and some super eco friendly road tire for daily use to save gas mileage, then putting on my offroad set on for trips. The cost of doing that though would take 10’s if not 100’s of thousands of miles to offset the cost. Keep 3 things in your truck at all times if you’re off road though: spare tire/tools, plug kit, and “glue tread” sidewall repair kit. Trust me!
Don't forget the air compressor :). Funny, I have it narrowed down to the MR316 or Fuel Rebel 6. Now you have me thinking about 17s. Thanks for the info and sorry for the thread hijack.

I've had a 2021 PB XLT for almost a month now. Maybe 1,200 miles of towing on two different trips. I've still got the original 18" GY Wr Territories, but they will be replaced soon before the rain and weather hits in a few months. Have a 26' box(30' overall) Keystone Passport, and am not a fan of this tire for towing, but like it otherwise. As we only two ~5-7 times a year for a couple long trips and a few weekenders. Not a lot of off-roading, but we like to do some sandy stuff. We don't necessarily need to get these again. I've seen there is a similar version of these with Kevlar. Does anyone know if these have a stiffer sidewall or are a decent enough upgrade to choose?

Any other thoughts on what would work out here? There is a decently priced set of 20" tires near me with the Hankooks on them. They have very light miles, but not sure that these would be any better. Definitely less side wall, which isn't necessarily desired when towing, and I'm not sure the sidewall would be any tougher, but I can guesstimate(hate to do that with TT!) they'd have less swampy response when towing.

I've a fan of the OWL, as the truck is agate black, and they compliment the truck nicely.

Also, need to get some air bags. Thoughts? I'd also like to put some rear wheel liners in as I find those rear wheel wells are HUGE. Maybe it's just the FX4? haha...yeah, first time F-150 guy here! Any airbags that will work and also allow for rear wheel well liners to be installed?
