If you order from the factory you get a $2000 rebate. So with that you are getting it below MSRP.I’m not in the market for another truck but I got this in an email. Somebody check it out and see.

depends on what they want you to believe they pay. There’s no details in there that allows you to compare to anything.I’m not in the market for another truck but I got this in an email. Somebody check it out and see.
That doesn’t count as getting below msrp. Thats a factory rebate so it gets added on top of whatever your dealer does and doesn’t affect them whatsoever. And it’s only $1000 last I knew for custom orders incentives. If you order from the factory you get a $2000 rebate. So with that you are getting it below MSRP.
Last time I bought a truck it had a sticker on the window with MSRP. Then the dealer would give you all the factory rebates he could. Some added up to as much as $7000. They advertise it that way. $7000 below MSRP if you qualify. To me that is buying below MSRP. I picked my truck up last week and received a $2000 rebate for my custom order from the factory. Interesting, I only knew about the $2k thing to incentivize buying things on dealer lots vs custom ordering where they were advertising $1000 discount. I guess it works but what I was getting at is you essentially agreed to msrp but the factory rebate saved a bit of money. Where as the factory rebate would be there regardless. For my order I have the discount from msrp and then the $1000 from ford is on top of that at the end plus anything else from the factory but I don't think I qualify for any of those so I am only banking on the $1000 right nowLast time I bought a truck it had a sticker on the window with MSRP. All I had to do to qualify for the $2000 rebate was order from the factory. I had to wait 6 and a half months but I did get the rebate when it arrived last week. I think in this day and time it will be extremely difficult to get a truck off the lot less than that if you can find a dealer that will do it. I hear there are one around that will sell off the lot for MSRP but they are rare.Interesting, I only knew about the $2k thing to incentivize buying things on dealer lots vs custom ordering where they were advertising $1000 discount. Those were the good old days. I don’t think we will see those days anytime soon. What we’d do have going for us is our trade in is worth more. I got $5000 more than what it was worth so I just mentally called that a rebate also.I've always considered it the same way as you
Sticker is the price on the window sticker (MSRP). No matter how you get those discounts (rebates, dealer discounts, etc), it still helps bring that price "below sticker".
In 2017 between dealer discounts and about $5k in rebates, I got my '17 for $12k under sticker (~$51k sticker price, ~$39k purchase price)
you did alright then lol I'm 10.5 under sticker including one price increase and my $1000 factory rebate. I got hit by the mid February increase but I wasn't in the loop yet back then. 6 months and tomorrow is my blend day. We aren't off this roller coaster just yetThose were the good old days.
