I have a 22 PB and I have some the glare free lights mod with forscan. It has been working correctly without issue until a few days ago. I updated my IPMA module and yesterday my IPC updated over the air. Now my lights seems to switch to high beam more often and they don't always turn off when lights approach. Also, the don't seem to dim up and down like the glare free is supposed to do. They seem to pop to on and off like regular auto high beams.

The on screen menu choice shows glare free turned on. I also checked all of the needed forscan changes and they are still correct. I thought they might have changed because of the IPMA and IPC updates.

Anyone have any ideas? Thanks.

Same here. Noticed it in the last few days after updating. It’s like it doesn’t ramp up or down smoothly anymore. It’s more of a sharp on and off. Did the same, checked all Forscan as-builts, all matched.

I’ve reached out and there are some others. One had an option within the APIM to toggle right hand traffic, but I don’t have anything within the APIM to toggle. Mines a 22MY 502A. I’m hoping someone can figure it out.

Did that person have any luck with that APIM option?

One did, though I don’t know who. The person I was messaging didn’t use glare free, so he didn’t know. This is just the start of people getting around to installing the updates. As many people who have enjoyed the glare free option, I would have to believe there will be more and hopefully we will figure this out.

I drive pretty early and a stretch of road without lights on the way to work. It used to ramp up and “shift” and now it’s a very rigid movement but still pushes light to the sides. Have you applied the recent updates? IPMA, PSCM and BCM.

Hi. Liked Mays said, mine were coming up to full brightness and back down. And going side to side as they should. It's only after the recent updates that is functioning incorrectly.

Yeah so I was just going through this issue myself and just finished testing. The toggle in the APIM (thanks @Jesse-Infotainment) is the fix.

7D0-09-01 xx5x xxxx xx-- (Note my OEM was 1)

Wrench icon - reset APIM Module

On your center screen: Settings > Vehicle > Lighting > Adaptive Head Lamps Traffic Menu (new)
Toggle to Left traffic then back to Right

You should be good to go. You can leave the menu or return you as-built to OEM, the fix should remain.

I am amending this to recommend trying this first: IPMA 706-34-01 XXAA 8XXX XX--

I would still recommend this even your issue was fixed with my first recommendation.

I am having no issue either. I have all of the updates applied to all the modules. I have not noticed it operating any differently, thank goodness, as it is one of my favorite ForSCAN mods.

What is the delineation of left and right traffic? Traffic comes at me from my left…. Or does it mean left lane travel like in the UK and right lane travel like here in North America?

Thanks!

The side of the road you are driving on, rather than the traffic you are meeting.

The graphic in the menu makes it clear as well.
