This isn't specifically related to the Gen 14 forum, but I'm hoping for help nonetheless. I stupidly bought a black vehicle here in central Florida. Besides the oven bake feature, I have a problem with it. Shortly after buying the vehicle I removed the dealer logo, and it looked okay, with a hint of the logo burnt into the paint. It seems to have gotten worse (see photo). Any suggestion on how I can get rid of this ugliness?

Thanks either way.
Jim

I'm not skilled in detailing, but it likely just needs to be buffed out. Any competent detailer should be able to take care of it pretty easily.

Your clear is in really rough shape, the dealer name protected the surface from who ever was washing it with a bag of rocks lol. Polishing compound and a buffer to restore the area should do it. Light color sand if scratches area around the letters are to deep may be needed.
If you can’t do that, a detailer could.

All your paint needs is a cut and polish by a professional detailer. Your truck will thank you.

So glad my dealer doesn't put this crap on the cars we buy from them (they don't put it on any of their cars, only license plate frames).

Glad to see you've gotten it looking better @JimmyKumbaya
