Wondering if any of you have found an elegant solution to mounting additional gauges. I’m about to order a Banks IDash.
So far I’ve looked at:
1. https://www.block8head.com/. He has some neat looking vent pods. You can see on his Facebook page some custom mounts for 2” gauges. I suspect some of you have this installed. would love to see some install pictures if anybody is willing to provide. My interior has that piece as a brushed silver. I suspect matching that brushed look would be difficult.
2. Adding a Dash mount and mounting it in the center of the dash. I fear this will look too out of place.
3. Banks single gauge mount. This is a pretty flexible mounting option, but bulky.
in previous generations of trucks I’ve seen mounts in the actual vents as well.
Ive also thought about mounting it down low by the center console. If I didn’t have the stupid wireless charger, it would fit real well in that spot in the center console.
At any rate, I’d love to see what options any of you have found. Installed pics and product links would be much appreciated..
