Gap Setting on Adaptive Cruise Control not working?

Hello Gals/Guys -- I just noticed today that the yellow and red gap setting on my dash is not working. I tried to push the button to verify the gap setting and nothing happens when I push the button...no error, or code, and no gap options come up...it's like the button is useless. I tried to turn cruise control back to Normal and then back to ACC and still nothing. Makes me wonder if the pre-collision assist works then? Any ideas? Thank you! -Andrea

The constant bar in the front of the truck is only the forward distance alert. It will change color the closer you get to a vehicle in front of you. You need to have adaptive cruise on and enabled to change the follow distance.

Hey! Thanks for replying! In my post I mentioned I tried to toggle ACC to Normal and then back to ACC and the button still doesn't work. I had to drive to the vet today and noticed the red and yellow never appeared despite being super close to vehicle in front of me. ?
