He guys
I have 22 Lariat 502a,max tow,157wb(currently bilstien 5100s rear autospring 2.5 front with stock struts and wildpeak 295/70/18

I am looking to replace front struts to firm up the ride as much as possible

l think I am going with either Bilstien coil overs at max setting or Rough country 3 inch lift with struts

They don't seem to give any info on spring stiffness
Does anyone have advice on which one will give a firmer ride up front?
And does the control arm with 3inch lift give any more tire clearance?

Thanks

Just upgrading the front struts to 5100's will make a significant improvement over the stock pogo sticks. Ford's stock dampers both FX and non FX alike are severely under-valved with rebound. This causes the suspension to over extend then compress again leading to the bouncy rolling boat like ride many of us complain about. The 5100's are slightly stiffer on the compression and massively stiffer with rebound damping and eliminates the bounce. They should be more than enough to stiffen the ride up but retain a rather comfortable overall ride quality. An added bonus with the 5100's is you can remove the lift blocks as they have multiple spring perch points that will give you the same 2.5" lift.
